Western Conference Teams

The Western Conference is spread across 3 divisions with 15 teams in Total.
The Northwest Division, which has Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trailblazers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz.
Pacific Division, which has Los Angles Clippers, Golden Sate Warriors, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings and Los Angles Lakers.
The Southwest Division, which has San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Hornets.

The Eastern Conference Teams are Spread across 3 divisions with 15 teams in total.
The Atlantic Division, which has Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers.
The Central Division, which has Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks.
The Southeast Division, which has Miami Heat, Washington Wizards, Charlotte Bobcats, Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic.

2014 All-Star Weekend

This year it was New Orleans turn to host the 2014 All-Star weekend. NBA All-Star weekend involves 6 different events over the weekend. The Skills Challenge, The Slam Dunk Contest, The 3 Point Contest, Shooting Stars, The Celebrity Game and the All-Star Game. 2014 has brought a lot of new things to the All-Star Experience. The design for the jerseys, was the first time in All-Star history for the jerseys to be sleeved with the West in red with purple trim and the East in blue with green trim.

Another change to this years event was the introduction of the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest and the Taco Bell Skills Challenge being Teamed events. In previous years players would compete for themselves, although this year the skills challenge was in pairs and the dunk contest was in a team of 3.
